How to prepare for ECLIPSE IHC
If you are already sending claims to the health funds, either manually or via another software, then you do not need to re-register for ECLIPSE. If this is you, then you can skip this step. There is nothing further for you to do regarding registering for ECLIPSE.
If you have never sent a claim to a health fund before, then you will need to complete this.
Register for ECLIPSE with each fund
Call all the funds you plan to submit claims to and let them know you will be submitting ECLIPSE IHC claims.
Each fund is different in their registration process. Some will have forms for you to sign; others might take your details over the phone.
Since there is a large list of funds to register with, you may want to just start with the top 5 funds in your state, and start getting some claims out, rather than being able to claim only when you have registered with all funds, which could take a while.
You will not be able to send claims to a fund that you have not registered with.
For the AHS (Alliance group), sadly you will need to contact each fund individually.
